We are seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and organized intern to support the
development of our core programs in the Bay Area. The internship offers a chance to help develop important programs for the Bay Area community that will provide inspiration and concrete ways for people to get engaged in pressing social issues. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in event development activities and to be part of the event productions. This part-time

We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, energetic and flexible Administrative Associate/Office Manager to support an Executive Director and Program Director, as well as the overall functioning of the office. This individual will be a key team member handling a wide variety of administrative and office management functions, including executive support, bookkeeping, database management, travel arrangements, computer and internet assistance, and programmatic

Primary responsibilities of the position will include but not be limited to:
*Act as the central point of contact in the Berkeley office, exhibiting a strong level of ownership and a proactive approach to all responsibilities

*Serve as Office Manager in setting up and managing all administrative systems and aspects of the office

*Liaise with organizations and local vendors (re: office supplies, machines, IT, etc.)
*Collaborate with team on special projects including planning and staffing programs and events
*Maintain and monitor stock of marketing and identity materials
*Maintain database, run reports, manage contacts
*Handle all expense reports, invoicing, donations, account/record keeping and ensure all forms are submitted in a timely fashion

Qualifications
*Minimum of two years of relevant work experience

Description of Position-

This position is for a highly motivated independent student seeking a serious internship with a cutting edge startup solar company based in New York City (with office in Monmouth County, NJ). The position will be focused on marketing and sales related activities. Such activities are direct/target marketing: 40%, database marketing: 20%, sales assistance: 20%, general administration: 10%, Special Projects:10%. Candidate will be expected to be able to travel throughout the state of NJ, and into New York City.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the VP of Business Development, and CEO of the company during a “high growth†period and gain tremendous insight into the world of solar financing. Upon completion of the internship, the candidate may be asked to continue on with Ad Energy as a Marketing Associate and high performers will be promoted rapidly.

Skills:

- Strong Interpersonal skills and an interest in learning how to market and sell in a consumer based business
- Ability to work in team environment
- Strong computer skills are mandatory including:
o Microsoft Excel: ability to perform basic functions within Excel
o Microsoft Access: ability to work with databases, and data entry
